I have followed you work for a number of years and of course you always seem to find very interesting models who just pose with ease. But I am more fascinated with the way you use light - just wonderful - the highlights and shadows make you want to stare at a particular image for quite a while. Have been shooting for over 40 years and sometimes still look at an image and say - what was I thinking?

Hello David, I was up in Joshua Tree the other day and went by the huge mansion up in the hills and I thought of you. I looked you up on Google and I wanted to drop you a line to say hello to an old friend. Hi David! Thanks for the links to this site and to your galleries. I am impressed by the variety of your work and can only repeat what earlier commentors have said. In particular of course, I like the desert/death valley shots depicting those beautiful ladies you are so fortunate to get to work with. I have scanned your galleries countless times and I must say that I am truly impressed. You take truly amazing pictures no matter what subject you choose to photograph, whether it be models, landscape, or any other obscure thing. You have a gift and an amazing eye that catches beautiful pictures. I would like to say that David Winge truly has an eye for the out of the ordinary that we take for granted everyday. I had the opportunity of having Mr. Winge stay in my home and photograph lots of exquisite things in my desert community. I believe he has a true talent for spotting out items, buildings, and even desert life as we know it. I am very fortunate to say that I am glad to have been a friend to David Winge, he has truly opened my eyes to how wonderful, colorful and full of life the desert can be.
